Responsibilities and Duties
Lead the strategy, technical evolution, and operations of engineering teams, ensuring scalable, secure deliveries aligned with business goals. Will be responsible for connecting Product, Architecture, and Technology, promoting technical excellence, team development, and process maturity.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure predictability, quality, and efficiency of deliveries, monitoring roadmaps, indicators, and squad capacity.
- Act in the definition of technical solutions, architecture, and technological evolution of products.
- Support initiatives for system modernization, microservices, Cloud, and DevOps practices.
- Promote engineering best practices, governance, observability, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a link between Engineering, Product, Architecture, and business areas, participating in strategic decisions.
- Lead approximately 15 professionals including Developers, Tech Leads, Analysts, and Key Users.
- Develop high-performance teams through feedback, coaching, mentoring, and development plans.
- Lead technical discovery of initiatives.
- Participate in defining solution architecture.
- Assess technical viability of new products and features.
- Define implementation and technological evolution strategies.
- Contribute to decision-making considering cost, benefit, risk, and scalability.
Requirements and Qualifications
Requirements
- Complete Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields.
- Experience in leading teams and multiple engineering squads.
- Solid experience in delivery management and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, REST APIs, and system integration.
- Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, observability, relational databases, and NoSQL.
- Experience with application security and technical governance.
Differentials
- Experience with .NET Core, Node.js, PHP, or C#.
- Knowledge of React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture, DDD, and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Service Bus).
- Experience with AKS, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Terraform.
