Shopware 5 Freelancer: Maintenance & Migration Specialist

We are seeking a reliable Freelancer for the ongoing technical maintenance of an established and successful Shopware 5 online shop. While remote work is standard, regular in-person coordination meetings in Essen are explicitly required. Note that a timely migration to Shopware 6 is planned and currently in preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous technical support for the Shopware 5 system.
• Manage plugin maintenance, conduct error analysis, and perform bug fixing.
• Ensure system stability, manage updates, maintain backups, and uphold security standards.
• Execute performance optimization and technical SEO tasks (basic requirement, advanced skills highly valued).
• Serve as the primary technical contact for daily operational needs.
• Perform frontend optimization and customization.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Several years of professional experience utilizing Shopware 5.
• Proven proficiency in managing and implementing Shopware plugins.
• Solid technical knowledge base including PHP, MySQL, Smarty, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Demonstrated reliable and structured approach to work.
• Willingness to participate in regular personal meetings in Essen.
