Job Summary: WordPress Developer (Temporary/Contract)

This is a project-based position with a fee structure to be discussed. We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to oversee the design and development of our website. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in web development, a passion for design, and expertise in creating robust user experiences (UX/UI) using various programming languages and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Lead website design, UX/UI strategy, and create wireframes and user flows to enhance overall user experience.
• Implement custom themes and plugins to extend core WordPress functionality.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and security best practices.
• Utilize version control systems, specifically GitHub, for efficient code management.
• Manage data storage solutions using databases such as MySQL.
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services via RESTful or SOAP protocols.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends in web development technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in WordPress development demonstrated by a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Experience with server management tools such as Docker and Git.
• Strong understanding of web design principles, including responsive design practices.
• 3 years (Preferred) experience in Website Design.
• 3 years (Preferred) experience with WordPress.

Beneficial Skills

• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools.
• Understanding of system architecture principles and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
