Responsibilities and Attributions
- Technical Excellence: Develop complex backend solutions, prioritizing performance, simplicity, and maintainability.
- Mentorship and Quality: Ensure technical rigor through constructive code reviews and the dissemination of design patterns and best practices.
- Architecture: Design structural improvements aligned with the product vision, assisting the team in the technical design of solutions.
- Observability: Monitor application performance and use data to anticipate failures and optimize stability.
- Incident Leadership: Command crisis resolution and lead the creation of post-mortems to transform errors into continuous learning.
- Strategic Refinement: Slice complex scopes into incremental deliveries that generate constant value for the business.
- Security (Security-first): Proactively identify vulnerabilities and apply secure development standards (OWASP).
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate risks, costs, and blockages with transparency, managing the expectations of business partners.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Mastery of PHP 7.4+ & Frameworks: Advanced experience with the Laravel/Lumen ecosystem and, crucially, experience with high-performance frameworks such as Swoole and Hyperf.
- Architecture and Design: Deep knowledge of Design Patterns and architectural principles for building scalable and easily maintainable systems.
- Data and Performance: Solid experience with Databases (Relational and NoSQL), with a total focus on modeling and query optimization.
- Code Quality: Practical experience with unit and integration tests, utilizing coverage metrics to guide continuous quality improvement.
- Infrastructure and Resilience
- Observability: Experience in sustaining real-time systems using tools such as New Relic, Grafana, Opsgenie, or DataDog.
- Cloud Ecosystem & DevOps: Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and cloud services like AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and S3.
- Soft Skills and Leadership
- Effective Communication: Ability to translate complex technical topics for different audiences and collaborate strategically with stakeholders.
- Autonomy and Proactivity: Capacity to make well-founded technical decisions and agility to identify and resolve blockages that impact the team.
