About Us:
HundeTrainingsZentrum Bremen stands for professional, evidence-based dog training as well as well-founded trainer education. To enable a smooth booking and platform usage for our customers, we rely on a modern digital infrastructure based on WordPress including a WooCommerce shop.
To strengthen and secure our digital presence, we are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer / Web Developer (m/f/d) immediately – either on a mini-job basis, as a freelancer, or part-time.
Your Tasks:
- System takeover & security check: Quickly familiarize yourself with our existing WordPress infrastructure, identify remaining security vulnerabilities, and close them sustainably.
- WooCommerce support: You are well-versed in WooCommerce, keep the online shop stable, and fix errors in the ordering and booking process.
- Code adjustments & customizing: You are skilled in programming (PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS) to make individual adjustments directly in code (themes, plugins, custom functions).
- Hardening & backups: Set up automated, reliable backup systems and ensure continuous update and performance monitoring.
- Fast troubleshooting: In case of technical problems or conflicts, independently and quickly find the cause and fix it in a structured manner.
What You Bring:
- Deep WordPress & WooCommerce know-how: You know WordPress and WooCommerce in detail and know how online shops run performantly and securely.
- Practical programming skills: You are not afraid to work directly in code (PHP/JS/CSS) to implement adjustments outside of standard plugins.
- Focus on IT security: Terms like plugin audits, server hardening, brute-force protection, and clean permission management are self-evident to you.
- Quick comprehension & diligence: You can read third-party code quickly, work conscientiously, and think of backups before making changes.
What We Offer:
- Attractive remuneration: Hourly wage from €17 / hour (depending on qualification and experience).
