About the Job:
Solutions Architects are integral to LaunchDarkly's elite Professional Services organization, empowering customers to decouple deploy from release for rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery. As a key member of the Revenue team, you will leverage your technical expertise to guide clients through transformative LaunchDarkly implementations, serving as a trusted advisor throughout their journey.
In this role, you will lead strategic engagements with customers and partners, accelerating software development and fostering the adoption of modern release practices to reduce risk and enhance velocity. You will educate teams on maximizing LaunchDarkly's value, championing best practices for long-term success and enthusiasm for building exceptional software.

Responsibilities:
- Apply deep technical expertise and a consultative approach to understand customer needs, gather detailed requirements, and influence critical decisions for successful outcomes.
- Lead Professional Services engagements focused on optimizing client software delivery processes, aligning strategies with industry best practices for improved efficiency and innovation.
- Provide guidance on software development best practices, advising customers on leveraging LaunchDarkly to accelerate software delivery while minimizing risk and enhancing quality.
- Cultivate strong technical partnerships between LaunchDarkly and its customers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing value across all touchpoints.
- Identify and resolve technical obstacles hindering value realization, enabling customers to achieve objectives more effectively.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on LaunchDarkly, continuously updating your knowledge to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Act as a key customer advocate, synthesizing and conveying feedback to Product and Engineering teams to drive solution development that supports both customer success and company objectives.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software.
- Hands-on technical background with a consultative approach.
- Expertise in implementing the full software development lifecycle with multiple years of experience in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in developing with at least one of our supported languages: Java, .NET, Go, JS, Python, PHP, NodeJS, Ruby, Rails, iOS, or Android.
- Ability to guide customers and teammates in implementing DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Proven track record of leading teams through development process transformation.
- Adept at learning and synthesizing large amounts of information to provide prescriptive recommendations to customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the discipline to prioritize attention effectively.
- Experience with experimentation and mobile technologies.
- Prior experience as a consultant for customers.
- Experience in both pre-sales and post-sales capacities.
- Experience with LaunchDarkly or other feature management platforms.
- Familiarity with services from major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Linux, Containers, and Virtual Machines.
