About the Job: Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect within LaunchDarkly's elite Professional Services organization, you will empower customers to decouple deploy from release, enabling rapid, reliable, and safe software delivery. This key role on the Revenue team involves applying your technical expertise to guide customers through transformative implementations of LaunchDarkly, serving as a trusted advisor throughout their journey.

You will lead strategic engagements with customers and partners, accelerating software development and fostering the adoption of modern release practices to reduce risk and improve velocity. Your role includes educating teams on maximizing LaunchDarkly's value, championing best practices for long-term success in building exceptional software.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage deep technical expertise and a consultative approach to understand customer needs, gather detailed requirements, and influence key decisions for successful outcomes.
• Lead Professional Services engagements to optimize client software delivery processes, aligning strategies with industry best practices for improved efficiency and innovation.
• Provide guidance on software development best practices, advising customers on utilizing LaunchDarkly to accelerate software delivery while minimizing risk and enhancing quality.
• Foster a robust technical partnership between LaunchDarkly and its customers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing value across all touchpoints.
• Identify and resolve technical obstacles hindering value realization, enabling customers to achieve objectives more effectively.
• Establish yourself as a subject matter expert on LaunchDarkly, continuously evolving your knowledge to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Act as a key advocate for customers, synthesizing and conveying their feedback to Product and Engineering teams, driving solution development that supports both customer success and company objectives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software.
• Hands-on technical background with a consultative approach.
• Expertise in implementing the full software development lifecycle with multiple years of experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience developing in at least one of our supported languages: Java, .NET, Go, JS, Python, PHP, NodeJS, Ruby, Rails, iOS, or Android.
• Ability to guide customers and teammates in implementing DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Proven track record of delivering on teams through development process transformation.
• Adept at learning and synthesizing large amounts of information to provide prescriptive recommendations to customers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the discipline to prioritize attention effectively.
• Experience with experimentation and mobile technologies.
• Prior experience as a consultant for customers.
• Experience performing in both pre-sales and post-sales capacities.
• Experience with LaunchDarkly or other feature management platforms.
• Experience with services from major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with Linux, Containers, and Virtual Machines.
