In this opportunity, you will be responsible for acting as a technical reference in backend PHP development, contributing to the evolution of system architecture, quality, and scalability. Actively participate in agile rituals, execute and review high-complexity demands, support technical decisions, ensure good coding practices, versioning, and deployment, as well as collaborate with the technical evolution of the team and support less experienced developers.

Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in team agile rituals, including dailies, planning, refinement, review, and retrospective.
• Develop and maintain services and APIs in PHP or other languages, following architectural patterns and best practices.
• Execute high-complexity demands autonomously, anticipating technical risks.
• Estimate tasks with good precision, considering technical impacts and dependencies.
• Perform code reviews, approve MRs, and ensure code quality, readability, and sustainability.
• Monitor and support deployment processes, ensuring stability in test and production environments.
• Contribute to technical and deployment process documentation.
• Identify performance, security, and scalability bottlenecks, proposing continuous improvements.
• Technically support other developers, acting as a reference point.
• Collaborate in defining and evolving technical standards, frameworks, and tools used in the backend.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proficiency in AI-assisted software development, with experience in approaches like Spec-Driven Development and the use of AI tools throughout the entire engineering cycle. We seek someone capable of orchestrating, reviewing, and directing AI code generation, not just manually developing solutions.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and concepts related to warehousing, inventory, and logistics operations.
• Solid experience in backend development using PHP.
• Consistent knowledge of REST APIs, service architecture, and system integration.
• Proficiency in code versioning (Git) and code review processes.
• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Ability to write clean, testable, performant code aligned with best practices.
