Senior Scala Developer

We are seeking a Senior Scala Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in crafting robust software solutions for our clients, working within a collaborative, international setting on innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance core services critical to client operations.
• Address and resolve production issues by fixing bugs and implementing application improvements.
• Mentor team members and proactively remove obstacles to enhance productivity.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for various workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team across US and EU time zones.
• Work closely with engineers to gather requirements and influence the team’s development roadmap.
• Explore and adopt new programming languages, tools, and technologies as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in Scala, with experience in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven background in developing and scaling high-throughput applications.
• Ability to actively participate in project discovery, design, and implementation phases.
• Eagerness to contribute and mentor within a collaborative, Agile team environment.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) at B2+ level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP.
• Experience with Go Language.
• Familiarity with gRPC.
