Senior PHP Developer (Remote, Contract)
We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer specializing in robust back-end development, scalable APIs, and high-performance integrations for structured projects. This is a contract role, paid per delivered activity or agreed-upon package of hours.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality PHP applications.
- Create and optimize REST APIs for scalability.
- Integrate applications with relational and non-relational databases.
- Refactor legacy code and implement performance improvements.
- Implement automated tests and adhere to quality best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (Development, Product, Design, QA).
- Produce clean and standardized technical documentation.
- Provide technical input on architecture decisions and evolutionary roadmaps.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in PHP 7+ or PHP 8+.
- Expertise in PHP Frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or Yii).
- Strong experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Git and organized version control practices.
- Deep understanding of Design Patterns (SOLID, Clean Code).
- Extensive experience developing REST APIs and working with JSON.
- Experience implementing queues and asynchronous processing.
- Proven track record working on complex software projects.
