Senior PHP & Wordpress Developer

Duties

We are seeking a highly expert WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing websites for our clients using the WordPress platform. Your duties will include:

• Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins
• Complex Custom Work in PHP, javascipt, Mysql and third-party APIs
• Optimizing websites for speed and performance
• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues
• Conducting website maintenance and updates
• Implementing security measures to protect websites from potential threats

Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• At least 7+ years experience in custom WordPress development
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and integration with WordPress
• Experience with system architecture and database management, particularly SQLite
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Familiarity with application development frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Knowledge of server-side technologies like Apache or Tomcat
• Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices
