Senior PHP Developer - WordPress Plugin Architecture Expert

We are seeking a Senior WordPress Developer with strong experience in PHP and plugin architecture to participate in the development of an innovative plugin focused on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). This plugin aims to prepare and position WordPress sites for correct interpretation, citation, and presence within current LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, among others).

The project integrates generative AI, semantic analysis, external APIs, and advanced dashboards, requiring a profile with technical vision, adherence to best practices, and the ability to build scalable solutions.

Job Objective

Design, develop, and maintain a professional WordPress plugin that enables:

• Preparing content for generative engines (GEO)
• Integrating AI services via APIs
• Implementing semantic and structured analysis
• Developing advanced administrative panels
• Ensuring security, performance, and scalability

Key Responsibilities

• Develop WordPress plugins from scratch using professional architecture.
• Implement modular and object-oriented structures.
• Create and consume REST APIs (WordPress + external).
• Integrate AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or others).
• Implement dynamic generation of JSON-LD and semantic structures.
• Build administrative dashboards within WordPress.
• Apply security best practices (nonces, sanitization, permissions).
• Optimize performance and resource loading.
• Document code and architecture.
• Participate in technical product definition and roadmap.

Backend

• PHP 8.x (Advanced)
• WordPress Core (actions, filters, hooks)

• Handling cron jobs (wp_cron)

Security

• Data validation and sanitization
