About the Vacancy
This role focuses on PicPay's Pix system, operating within a mission-critical environment. You will support millions of customers and process high volumes of transactions and data, with a strong emphasis on availability, scalability, low latency, security, and consistency. Technically, this involves working with distributed systems, integrating with the Central Bank's regulated ecosystem, ensuring robust observability, resilience, asynchronous processing, and implementing strategies for continuous operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-availability, low-latency PHP microservices.
- Utilize AI agents as a development tool, providing guidance, critiquing results, and iterating towards optimal solutions.
- Analyze technical and functional requirements, assessing risks, complexity, and feasibility prior to implementation.
- Address bugs, investigate production incidents, and propose continuous system improvements.
- Execute integrations with financial partner APIs and regulatory systems.
- Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring high quality, security, and adherence to team standards.
- Monitor service performance and availability using advanced observability tools.
- Document technical solutions in alignment with best practices.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Hyperf frameworks.
- Experience with asynchronous programming using Swoole or other relevant languages.
- Background in PCI-DSS environments or handling sensitive data.
- Expertise in messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
- Familiarity with AWS Services (EC2, SQS, S3, Lambda).
- Prior experience with payment systems or financial services.
- Proficiency in observability tools (Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog).
- Demonstrated experience documenting AI usage strategies within the development lifecycle.
