Responsibilities and Attributions
- Develop and maintain PHP applications (5.6/7.x/8.x) using the CakePHP framework, adhering to best practices in coding, architecture, and design patterns.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance system integrations via RESTful APIs.
- Manage MySQL databases, including data modeling, index creation, and optimizing complex queries.
- Provide front-end support for legacy systems maintenance and evolution using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery and Bootstrap).
- Utilize Git (GitHub, GitLab, or similar) for version control and collaborative team development.
- Ensure software quality through automated testing (PHPUnit) and static code analysis.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Solid experience in PHP development, specifically with the CakePHP framework.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery and Bootstrap) for legacy system maintenance and evolution.
- Advanced MySQL knowledge, including data modeling, index creation, and query optimization (using EXPLAIN).
- Proven experience creating, consuming, and documenting REST APIs, including versioning, authentication, and use of OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Practical experience with Docker/Compose for configuring reproducible environments, managing environment variables, and handling deploy/rollback processes.
- Expertise in Git, including branch workflow, pull requests, and code review.
- Understanding of code quality principles, applying unit tests and static analysis tools (PHPStan, Psalm).
