Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system architecture and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for platform improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of load testing tools and methodologies.
- Document test plans, results, and technical insights clearly.
- Optimize platform bottlenecks to improve scalability and stability.
- Create and implement limits enforcement mechanisms at various platform entry points.
- Support the development and maintenance of monitoring and alerting systems.
- Assist in debugging and resolving performance issues.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline improvements.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to align on platform governance goals.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in PHP and at least one of Go or Scala programming languages, with a willingness to work across all three.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack (ELK).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
- Competency in microservice architectures.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience in the e-commerce domain, including store operations, catalog management, and checkout flows.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- High degree of drive and initiative with proactive problem-solving.
- Strong growth mindset eager to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving challenges.
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Experience in scalability and performance testing including load generation, monitoring, and analysis.
- Experience building and maintaining automation for testing, data collection, and reporting.
- Hands-on expertise with load testing tools such as K6, JMeter, and Blazemeter.
