Senior PHP Developer

We are seeking experienced professionals for Web system development to collaborate in building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

This role focuses on the front-end and involves working across the complete development cycle for both existing and new projects, from conception through testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, and develop efficient multi-user Web applications for both server execution and browsers, including possibilities for cloud installation.
• Execute activities across all phases of the application development and deployment cycle using agile methodologies.
• Collaborate and define technical solutions that meet business requirements alongside the product area and clients, implementing them efficiently and effectively.
• Create well-designed, testable, efficient, reliable, and secure code that fully adheres to business needs and corporate reference architecture, applying reuse concepts.
• Develop and control coding quality, ensuring code maintainability, managing documentation, and designing/executing unit and integration tests.
• Support continuous improvements by proposing alternative solutions and technologies for application architecture review.
• Participate in strategic technical decisions regarding solution development.

Requirements

In addition to standard prerequisites for be.áliant employees, the candidate should possess:

• Bachelor's degrees: Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering (other specialties), Mathematics, or Physics.
• Technologists: Systems Analysis and Development or Internet Systems.
• Proven experience in Web Application (Web App) development of at least 5 years.
• Knowledge and practice in the following technologies:
  • HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JQuery, JavaScript, ReactJS;
  • PHP;
  • IDEs: Visual Studio, NetBeans or Eclipse;
  • Databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and notions of SQL;
  • OOP, RESTFUL API’s, Micro Services;
  • PHP Frameworks;
  • Application architecture and design patterns;
• Proactivity (self-taught, challenge-taker, engaged) and ability to work in self-managing teams.
• Experience in building partnerships between company areas.
• Experience with coding quality and best practices such as TDD and unit tests.
• Knowledge/participation in agile development processes with proven experience in Scrum, XP, or Agile of at least 5 years.
