We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior PHP Developer with a strong focus on performance and scalability for platform governance and limits enforcement. In this position, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying solutions to proactively manage and enforce platform limits, supporting long-term stability and fair resource usage.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering teams to understand system architecture and identify key performance areas
• Provide data-driven recommendations for system improvements
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of load testing methods, tools, and best practices within the Platform Governance team
• Thoroughly document and communicate test plans, results, and insights
• Optimize platform bottlenecks to improve performance
• Develop and implement mechanisms to enforce limits at various platform entry points

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with PHP and proficiency in either Go or Scala, with a willingness to learn and work across all three languages
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
• Understanding of microservices architectures
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Previous experience in the ecommerce sector, including knowledge of store operations, catalog management, and checkout processes
• English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
