We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior PHP Developer focused on performance and scalability for platform governance and limits enforcement. This key role involves designing, developing, and deploying solutions to proactively manage and enforce platform limits, supporting long-term stability and fair resource usage.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering teams to understand system architecture and identify key performance areas.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for system improvements.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of load testing methods, tools, and best practices within the Platform Governance team.
• Thoroughly document and communicate test plans, results, and insights.
• Optimize platform bottlenecks to improve performance.
• Develop and implement mechanisms to enforce limits at various platform entry points.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with PHP and proficiency in either Go or Scala, with a willingness to learn and work across all three languages.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Understanding of microservices architectures.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Previous experience in the ecommerce sector, including knowledge of store operations, catalog management, and checkout processes.
• English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher.
