Senior PHP Backend/Full-Stack Developer

Your Responsibilities

• Designing software for both web applications and continuously running backend applications (daemons).
• Designing backend in PHP (Symfony, API Platform).
• Maintaining an internal product developed over several years.
• Designing databases in MySQL.
• Creating frontend in HTML/CSS/jQuery/Vue.js, primarily using ready-made components.
• Participating in project and consultation meetings.
• Creating technical documentation.

Our Expectations

• Fluent knowledge of PHP (version 5.6 and higher).
• Very good knowledge of MySQL – you can freely design and optimize queries and ensure database performance.
• Experience working with extensive PHP projects, especially those based on Symfony or other popular frameworks.
• Ability to work with legacy code (including PHP 5), including understanding compatibility differences between application and system versions, and gradual refactoring of existing solutions.
• Very good knowledge of Git and comfortable work with repositories in a team.
• Experience working with tools and technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, or InfluxDB.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience working with Vue.js or similar frontend libraries/frameworks.
• English language proficiency enabling free reading and understanding of technical documentation.
• Timeliness, accuracy, and attention to detail, which translate into high-quality delivered solutions.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of Linux system administration, with particular emphasis on: LiteSpeed / Nginx, PHP / MySQL / MariaDB, rsync, knowledge of text processing tools (grep, sed, awk, etc.).
• Knowledge of application testing techniques using testing frameworks.
• Experience in performing and receiving Code Reviews.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop.
• Experience in integrating external systems.
