As a new member of our client team, you will collaborate on managing events within our proprietary system and configuring our online shops. The client team is one of three self-organized domain teams at ticket i/O IT, independently steering project work. It currently consists of 8 professionals, including a Tech Lead, a Product Owner, and six Fullstack Developers.
You will join approximately 30 IT colleagues, driving new features and advancing our online ticketing software through agile sprints. Our primary programming language is TypeScript (Node.js). We leverage NestJS for backend development and ReactJS for the frontend. Additionally, our legacy projects utilize PHP with Symfony. Our applications are built and hosted on AWS, ensuring a scalable, micro-services-based infrastructure.

We combine years of experience from the event, leisure, sports, and trade fair sectors with cutting-edge technology to create intuitive software solutions. Since 2014, over 90 dedicated employees have ensured smooth operations before, during, and after events.
Tasks
- Support your team in the continuous development and new implementation of configuration for online ticketing for events.
- Conceive and develop new features: from requirements analysis to the implementation of individual development steps.
- Weigh solution-oriented, pragmatic, and economically between visionary ideas and optimal software architecture.
- Oversee process monitoring, with a strong emphasis on scalability.
- Perform operational tasks (DevOps, Terraform) in collaboration with our two administrators.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in agile teams and operate in a self-organized and independent manner.
- Knowledgeable across the stack: from the backend, through the infrastructure (IaC), to the database.
- Possess several years of professional experience with Node.js, React, and SQL, demonstrating strong proficiency in JavaScript (ideally TypeScript).
- Capable of working with PHP and Symfony to read legacy code and create integrations.
- Exhibit a keen eye for clean architectures and interfaces.
- Committed to perfecting work with UnitTests and utilizing GIT for team synchronization.
- Eager to learn new programming languages, technologies, and methodologies.
- Fluent in English and proficient in German (minimum B2).
