Senior PHP Back End Developer

LeadingReach seeks a Senior PHP Back End Developer to enhance our PHP RESTful API supporting a single-page database application. Location: Fully remote, open to candidates in approved U.S. states, with a preference for Texas (especially Austin) or Atlanta.

Starting Salary: $130,000 (commensurate with experience and location)

Our HIPAA-secure, web-based platform connects healthcare providers on the LeadingReach Network, facilitating digital patient referrals, clinical documentation sharing, and communication to reduce reliance on faxes and phone calls.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a PHP software developer or demonstrated expert-level knowledge.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building RESTful APIs for front-end database applications, including CRUD operations and data business rule implementation.
• Working experience with the PHP Symfony framework.
• Working experience with advanced SQL on a relational database.
• Work experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of HL7 interfacing is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

• Expert PHP development skills.
• Expert RESTful API development skills supporting front-end database applications.
• Advanced SQL skills (select, insert, update, delete, joins, cross joins, group by, unions, embedded selects, etc.).
• Expertise with Symfony.
• Intermediate expertise in MySQL.
