We are seeking an experienced JavaScript Engineer to help us build beautiful, robust, and scalable digital health products using React, GraphQL, and Node. You will be working on tools actively improving access to healthcare across the UK.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with flexible hours. While Evaro is based in Norwich, United Kingdom, you will collaborate with Developers, Designers, and colleagues spread across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain performant front-end experiences using React and GraphQL.
- Contribute to Node-based backend APIs that power patient-facing and internal tools.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, and QA to deliver polished, accessible digital experiences.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code capable of handling real-world healthcare use cases.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and sprint planning sessions.
- Help shape the future of our digital health platform by contributing ideas and insights across the stack.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong skills in React, including component architecture and state management.
- Experience with GraphQL in production environments.
- Experience building and maintaining Node.js applications and APIs.
- Comfortable working in Git-based, agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of testing best practices and CI/CD workflows.
- Passion for creating accessible, intuitive user experiences.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to PHP (our back end language)
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. Healthcare/HealthTech, Finance/FinTech, Aerospace, Energy, Automotive)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
- Prior involvement in scaling early-stage products or startups
