Senior Golang Developer

We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join our remote team. This role requires expertise in defining development best practices, executing complex features, and driving technological evolution across our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and enforce development best practices across engineering teams.
• Program, code, and test systems, handling both Front-End and Back-End development projects.
• Lead the development and implementation of complex system functionalities.
• Propose and implement technological advancements and system evolutions.
• Monitor adherence to system development best practices.
• Validate the quality and coverage of existing project tests (Unit, Integration, TDD).
• Validate new application functionalities prior to deployment.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of application systems.
• Proactively anticipate potential issues and opportunities, developing effective, preventive solutions rapidly.
• Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to critical project decision-making.
• Perform system maintenance, debugging, and necessary alterations to meet user requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid experience with Golang, Java, PHP, or similar programming languages.
• Proficiency in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with Messaging systems (e.g., SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture and high scalability environments.
• Cloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, ELK, or similar).
