At limango IT, you will apply your expertise to improve customer service and order management systems for the German, Polish, and Dutch markets. You will work within an established international agile team, including experienced developers, a dedicated Product Owner, and a QA engineer, utilizing a modern technology stack focused on cloud-based solutions, service-oriented architecture, and event-driven communication.
Modern Technology Stack
- Primary Language: GoLang (with some legacy PHP)
- Architecture: Microservices hosted on AWS
- Databases: Transitioning from MySQL to AWS NoSQL solutions like DynamoDB
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
- Messaging: AWS SQS for efficient queue management
- Front-End: ReactJS
Key Responsibilities: Senior Backend Go Engineer
- Develop and maintain our product data information and product search systems using GoLang.
- Integrate these systems with other IT teams using both synchronous and asynchronous methods.
- Contribute ideas and know-how to maintain and develop our highly frequented, self-built online shop for markets in Germany, Austria, Poland, and the Netherlands.
- Work within a modern tech stack environment: cloud-based & virtualized infrastructure, service-oriented architecture, and event-based communication.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in any object-oriented programming language.
- 3+ years of experience with Golang and a solid understanding of clean code practices.
- Experience with Elastic Search or other e-commerce search technologies.
- AWS knowledge and experience working in cloud environments.
- Strong grasp of software design principles and best practices in software development.
