Senior Fullstack Engineer (GoLang/React) – 100% Remote E-commerce

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our international IT team remotely. You will apply your expertise to enhance customer service and order management systems for the German, Polish, and Dutch markets.

Our Modern Technology Stack

You will work within an established international agile team (Developers, Product Owner, QA Engineer) utilizing a robust, modern technology stack designed for innovation and scalability:

• Backend: GoLang (with some legacy PHP)
• Architecture: Microservices hosted on AWS
• Databases: Transitioning from MySQL to AWS NoSQL solutions (e.g., DynamoDB)
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
• Messaging: AWS SQS for efficient queue management
• Front-End: ReactJS for dynamic and responsive user interfaces
• Internal Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure cloud hosting for office and internal systems

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product listing pages, product detail pages, and associated microservices.
• Build and optimize APIs that aggregate data for the frontend, including wishlist functionality.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Work effectively with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges while strictly maintaining security and performance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Go (Backend)

• Strong proficiency in the Go programming language.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORM tools.
• Knowledge of Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks in Go.

React (Frontend)

• Solid understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax.
• Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API).
• Knowledge of React hooks and functional components.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.

Next.js (Fullstack)

• Experience building server-rendered and statically generated applications with Next.js.
• Understanding of Next.js features such as routing, API routes, and image optimization.
• Experience with data fetching in Next.js (e.g., getServerSideProps, getStaticProps, getStaticPaths).

General Fullstack Skills

• Understanding of core web development principles (HTTP, REST, APIs).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
