About the Opportunity
You will work on the Search and Payments team, responsible for two strategic pillars that connect discovery and revenue within the product:
Profile Search and Discovery
The system that helps each user find relevant connections and improve their experience within the platform.
Payment Hub
The billing engine that sustains the company's recurring revenue, including credit card, "boleto" (Brazilian payment slip), and PIX through multiple gateways, subscription management, financial reconciliation, and payment recovery.
This is a lean, high-performance team with great autonomy for decision-making. Here, every delivery has a direct and measurable impact on the main business indicators, requiring a combination of technical excellence, product sense, and execution capability.
We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, navigating different application layers, and actively participating in technical and product decisions. You will have space to propose improvements, lead initiatives, and contribute to the evolution of systems that operate at scale and are fundamental to the company's growth.
Requirements
What You Will Do:
More than years of experience, we seek real delivery capability:
- Has built and deployed a product or application end-to-end (even if alone).
- Solid experience with Cloud, working in production environments.
- Can take an open problem and transform it into a functional solution in production.
- Practically uses AI in development (code generation, debugging, testing, etc.).
- Has experience with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot Workspace) or similar applied to software development.
- Can autonomously navigate between front-end, back-end, and infrastructure.
- Product and experimentation mindset: enjoys measuring, testing hypotheses, and optimizing business metrics.
Stack and Essential Competencies
- Practical experience with AI in the development workflow
- Node.js
- PHP (Laravel)
- Modern front-end (Angular, TypeScript)
- AWS (our main Cloud environment)
- Databases: MySQL and PostgreSQL
- APIs and integrations (REST, HTTP)
Nice to Have | Experience With
- Knowledge in payments: gateways (PagSeguro/PagBank, Adyen, Stripe or similar), recurrence/subscriptions, payment recovery (dunning/retry), anti-fraud, chargebacks, tokenization/card-on-file, and PCI
- Experience with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other digital wallets and alternative payment methods
- Familiarity with the Brazilian payment market (PIX, boleto, local rules)
- Search/recommendation algorithms and search tools (ElasticSearch / OpenSearch)
- Asynchronous queue processing (AWS SQS) and workers
- Observability (CloudWatch, Datadog, SigNoz)
- Previous experience in startups or high-velocity environments
