About the Company
We operate a growing network of airport shuttle and executive transportation brands across Washington State, including Seattle Shuttle, SeaTac Shuttle, Tacoma Shuttle, Olympia Shuttle, and others. Our websites are WordPress-based and serve thousands of monthly users booking airport rides, cruise transfers, and corporate travel.
We are seeking a senior full-stack WordPress developer to take ownership of performance optimization, booking system customization, and API integrations across our entire platform.
Responsibilities
Website Performance & Optimization
- Improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, TBT, FID) across multiple WordPress sites.
- Configure caching layers (WP Super Cache, Redis) and Bunny CDN integration.
- Optimize code, images (WebP/AVIF), CSS/JS delivery, and database performance.
Booking Plugin Development
- Customize and extend our existing WordPress booking plugin for airport shuttle reservations.
- Integrate third-party APIs such as Google Maps Distance Matrix, Stripe, Twilio (OTP/SMS), and GA4.
- Implement dynamic fare calculations, round-trip logic, and mobile-first booking UX.
- Ensure data validation, secure processing, and clean admin management tools.
Full-Stack Development & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Manage DreamHost VPS performance, SSL, and DNS configuration.
- Maintain staging environments, Git version control, and deployment workflows.
- Conduct regular updates, backups, and security audits.
Technical SEO & Schema
- Collaborate with marketing to implement structured data (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ).
- Support Search Generative Experience (SGE) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) efforts through clean code and schema integration.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of full-stack WordPress development (PHP, MySQL, JavaScript).
- Proven experience optimizing site performance and Core Web Vitals.
- Strong understanding of WordPress plugin architecture, hooks, and REST API.
- Hands-on experience with DreamHost or similar VPS hosting environments.
- Experience integrating APIs (Google Maps, Stripe, Twilio, GA4, etc.).
- Familiarity with caching, CDN systems (Bunny, Cloudflare), and security hardening.
- Proficiency with Git and modern staging/deployment workflows.
Preferred Experience
- Elementor performance tuning and lightweight custom templates.
- Experience with Rank Math or Yoast Local SEO.
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data validation.
- Previous work on booking or transportation-related systems.

- All websites consistently achieve 90+ mobile Lighthouse scores.
- The booking plugin runs smoothly with real-time fare logic and no downtime.
- APIs are fully stable, monitored, and error-free.
- Secure, fast, and well-maintained WordPress ecosystem across multiple brands.
