What You'll Do…
As a Remote Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager, contributing to the expansion of the Relocity Platform. This platform intelligently streamlines, enriches, and transforms the curated 'Personal Host' experience through a collection of applications and services.
We seek a Laravel expert and Vue.js enthusiast passionate about designing and building high-quality applications. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, a product-oriented mindset, and curiosity about leveraging AI for software development. Success in this role requires solving complex problems, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and a focus on user experience and business outcomes.
How You'll Do It…
- Develop and expand robust frontend and backend applications
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle: architecture, specification reviews, testing, implementation, code reviews, debugging, and documentation
- Utilize modern AI tools and workflows to accelerate development, prototyping, and problem-solving, applying strong engineering fundamentals
- Own complex technical problems and projects, working autonomously while collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Design teams
- Apply a product and user-experience lens to development, focusing on both implementation and optimal user outcomes
- Conduct software testing (PHPUnit, Unit, E2E)
- Collaborate with the team to implement core customer-facing features
- Timely and accurate analysis and troubleshooting of complex problems
What Past Experience and Current Skills Will Enable Your Success In This Role?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 4 years of Laravel/PHP development experience
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience with Laravel 11.x+ and Vue.js 3.x (or other JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React)
- ML/AI experience preferred; comfort with AI-enabled development tools and workflows highly valued
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, architecture, object-oriented programming, and database design/optimization
- Extensive REST API development experience
- Proficiency with database technologies like MySQL
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative environment
- Advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently manage complex work from inception to solution
- Collaborative, product-minded approach focused on user needs and business outcomes
- Excellent verbal communication
- Detail-oriented with a focus on pixel-perfect implementation
- Startup or fast-paced, highly collaborative environment experience preferred
- Remote work experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus
