Senior Full Stack Developer / Tech Lead (PHP Laravel & Vue.js)

We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Lead / Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong hands-on execution focus to lead the technology strategy for a rapidly expanding Online English Language Institution.

This role requires a mature professional capable of leading the Front-end and Back-end development team, driving architectural decisions, and actively contributing to the complex codebase of our evolving educational ecosystem.

You will be stepping into a high-demand environment. The initial lack of documentation is an opportunity to investigate, map, and structure the existing legacy while simultaneously building the future platform architecture.

Responsibilities and Attributions

1. Technical Management and Leadership (Tech Lead)

• Manage the development team, serving as the technical reference and focal point for architectural decision-making.
• Lead agile ceremonies (Daily stand-ups), ensuring daily alignment, removing impediments, and providing continuous feedback on tasks.
• Manage workflow and deadlines using ClickUp, guaranteeing timely delivery and technical quality.
• Validate layouts in Figma (DevMode) prior to implementation, ensuring technical feasibility in collaboration with the Design team.

2. Engineering and Development (Hands-on)

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs using PHP v8.4+ and Laravel v10+.
• Evolve complex web interfaces (Student Area, Administrative Panel, and Checkout) utilizing Vue.js 2.x and Vuex.
• Maintain and enhance integrated mobile applications built with React Native.
• Implement and manage critical integrations, including Payment Gateways and OAuth2 authentication (Laravel Passport).
• Utilize real-time communication via WebSockets (Pusher) for student status and payment updates.

3. Architecture, Stability, and Documentation

• Critical Challenge: Work with undocumented systems, performing reverse engineering to understand business rules and subsequently creating technical documentation (APIs and flows).
• Monitor the MySQL database, optimizing slow queries and ensuring relational integrity across systems.
• Perform manual interventions when necessary (data correction, contract generation) while simultaneously working toward definitive process automation.
• Ensure automated test coverage using PHPUnit.

Mandatory Technical Requirements (Hard Skills)

The candidate must master the following implemented technology stack:

• Back-end: Deep mastery of PHP 8 and the Laravel Framework (Service Container, Eloquent, Jobs/Queues).
• Front-end: Advanced experience in JavaScript, Vue.js 2.x (Options/Composition API), Vuex, and Bootstrap/Sass.
• Mobile: Practical experience with React Native and API consumption.
• Database: Solid knowledge of MySQL (Modeling and Optimization).
• Infra/Tools: Proficiency with Git/GitHub (PR flow and Code Review), Composer, NPM, and Linux/Apache.
• Integrations: Proven experience with REST APIs and Payment Gateways.

Necessary Requirements (Summary)

• Senior Experience: Solid background as a Full-Stack Developer (PHP/JS), capable of working autonomously and leading technical decisions.
• Back-end: Proven mastery of PHP v8+ and Laravel v10+ framework, with experience creating secure RESTful APIs, OAuth2 authentication (Passport), and automated testing (PHPUnit).
• Front-end & Mobile: Proficiency in Vue.js 2.x (Vuex, Sass/Bootstrap) for complex web applications and practical knowledge of React Native for application maintenance.
• Database & Infra: Solid knowledge of MySQL (query optimization and modeling) and advanced use of Git/GitHub for versioning and code review.
• Management: Experience with agile methodologies and task management tools (e.g., ClickUp), demonstrating a profile oriented toward problem resolution and deadlines.
