About the Position
We are looking for a full stack developer with strong expertise in PHP/Laravel and Vue.js / Nuxt, to work on high-impact digital products at Petlove, focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and user experience.
You will work in Health squads, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering, participating in technical decisions, architectural evolution, and continuous platform improvement. The position also involves working on projects developed in Go, especially in contexts requiring high performance and scalability.
We are looking for someone interested in the practical use of Artificial Intelligence, applying AI to optimize code, processes, automation, and product evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, performant, and secure backend applications
- Design and evolve efficient and well-defined APIs
- Participate in architecture, performance, and scalability decisions
- Develop and evolve services in PHP/Laravel, Vue JS, and Go, as required by the product
- Implement and monitor metrics, logs, and observability
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and engineering best practices
- Actively participate in code reviews, standard definitions, and technical improvements
- Explore and apply AI for technical and product optimization
Stack and Technologies
- Back-end: PHP (Laravel), Go
- Front-end: Vue.js
- Cloud: GCP and AWS
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Messaging: SNS, SQS, or similar
- Architecture & practices: REST APIs, microservices, TDD, SOLID, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns
- Infra & DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, Git
- Observability: monitoring, logs, metrics, and application performance
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid experience with PHP / Laravel and Go in production
- Fullstack profile
- Experience with Vue.js / Nuxt and UI components
- Strong foundation in software engineering and best practices
- Ability to design solutions with performance, scalability, and reliability in mind
- Experience with APIs, relational databases, and messaging
- Good communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Interest and familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools and applications
Nice to Have
- Experience with distributed architectures and microservices
- Experience with observability and performance optimization
- Participation in technical discovery and architectural discussions
- Contributions to automation, internal tools, or DX improvement
