Responsibilities and Attributions

• Evolve and maintain the WordPress platform, ensuring consistent performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Create and adapt reusable blocks and customized sections so the marketing team can edit pages with greater autonomy (via Gutenberg or ACF).
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to transform ideas into editable, responsive, and reusable components.
• Implement and adapt themes, plugins, and functionalities focusing on scalability and ease of maintenance.
• Ensure best practices for performance, SEO, and accessibility, optimizing assets, structure, and loading time.
• Support the team in technical decisions regarding WordPress organization, permissions, roles, and publishing workflow.
• Participate in routines for versioning, deployment, and continuous validation of published content.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Solid experience with WordPress as the main development platform (traditional or headless).
• Mastery of creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Knowledge of Gutenberg (block editor) and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) for creating customizable areas.
• Familiarity with the WordPress administrative panel and ability to structure user-friendly interfaces for non-technical teams.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic to intermediate) applied to the WordPress ecosystem.
• Ability to implement best practices for technical SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization (e.g., lazy loading, compression, cache).
• Experience with versioning via Git and controlled deployments (via Github Actions or similar).
• Understanding of security and maintenance of sites in production (e.g., access control, secure updates, backups).

Differentials

• Experience with WordPress in headless environments (e.g., Next.js + WordPress via REST/GraphQL).
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, and Route 53.
• Previous experience with landing pages focused on marketing campaigns.
