Senior Frontend Developer (E-Commerce)

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team, working remotely or from our offices in Mannheim, Siegen, or Langenfeld. This role focuses on modern frontend solutions, particularly within the Shopware ecosystem.

Your Area of Responsibility

• Serve as an expert for modern frontend solutions, ideally utilizing profound knowledge of Shopware 6, or alternative platforms such as PIMCORE, Spryker, Magento, or Sylius.
• Collaborate closely with clients and project managers to develop customized e-commerce solutions.
• Actively support customer communication and contribute frontend expertise during pitches and presentations.
• Drive projects technically using technologies like React, Vue.js, and PHP template engines such as Twig or Smarty.
• Actively contribute to agile working methods, guiding the team and clients toward successful outcomes.

What Distinguishes You

• Several years of experience in e-commerce development, ready to assume responsibility as a Technical Lead.
• Extensive frontend knowledge, ideally having worked with Shopware 6 or related platforms.
• Basic knowledge of backend frameworks like Symfony to ensure clean implementations and influence frontend work.
• Advanced styling expertise beyond CSS, including modern frameworks like Tailwind and state-of-the-art CSS preprocessors like SCSS and Less.
• Strong customer orientation, communicating confidently and professionally in German and English.
• Experience in agile working methods, demonstrating team spirit and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to provide technical leadership for a small team (1-2 members), focusing on technical support and motivation rather than disciplinary management.
