Senior Developer Engineer, Research & Development
As a Senior Developer Engineer integrated within the Research and Development (R&D) service of the Technology and Information Directorate, you will contribute significantly to the analysis, estimation, design, development, and testing phases required for creating high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design:
- Participate in functional meetings alongside the Product Owner and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure architectural consistency and development homogeneity across R&D teams.
- Create detailed technical specifications and contribute to conceptual analyses.
- Estimate development workload and effort.
Development:
- Execute software development tasks while maintaining high code quality standards.
- Implement comprehensive unit tests.
- Serve as a technical reference point for the Quality Assurance (QA) team integrated within development.
- Actively participate in Scrum sprint ceremonies (Daily Meeting, Sprint Review, etc.).
- Generate technical documentation for the software.
- Draft and verify user and installation manuals.
- Report technical issues and deviations to the team and stakeholders.
Miscellaneous:
- Provide training and assistance to internal services, including expertise centers, integration, and support teams.
- Maintain technological watch to stay current with industry trends.
- Ensure effective coordination between the development team and the Product Owner.
- Provide regular activity reporting to the Manager.
Required Skills & Experience:
Candidates should possess a general IT background (Engineer or Master's degree) and 5 to 10 years of experience in the relevant domain. Must be autonomous and thrive in collaborative work environments.
