Senior Developer Analyst - PHP/Node.js

Responsibilities and Attributions

Your mission as a Senior Developer will be:

• Development and evolution of backend applications using PHP or Node.js
• Act in building scalable, resilient, and high-availability solutions
• Support technical decisions considering business impact, performance, and operational cost
• Perform code reviews and ensure technical quality of team deliveries
• Mentor less experienced developers and spread engineering best practices
• Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders
• Act in the analysis and resolution of complex problems in production
• Lead initiatives to reduce technical debt and continuous improvement of the platform

Requirements and Qualifications

To do this, we expect you to have knowledge and experience in:

• Solid experience with backend development in PHP or Node.js
• Mastery of Node.js frameworks (NestJS, Express, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of REST API architecture and microservices
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Advanced knowledge in modeling and optimization of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience with messaging and queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, or similar)
• Experience with cache and performance optimization (Redis, CDN, caching strategies)
• Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of automated testing and quality strategies
• Familiarity with application security practices and LGPD

Skills that will catch our attention:

• Experience in scalable architecture for SaaS products or transactional platforms
• Experience in high-demand and mission-critical environments
• Experience in modernizing legacy systems
• Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices
• Experience with Health tech, PBM, pharmaceutical retail, or logistics domains will be a differentiator
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) solution design
• Participation in medium/long-term architectural decisions
• Ability to balance fast delivery with technical sustainability
