Senior Backend Software Engineer

Join our Technology department as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, focusing on our core products: RCP (Reseller Control Panel), Domains & DNS, and third-party integrations (WHMCS, Blesta). This is a 6-month contractual/temporary position with a Remote work location.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for our domains business using PHP and Go.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Utilize source control (GitHub, Bitbucket), bug tracking systems (JIRA), continuous integration (Jenkins), and deployment tools (Docker).
• Work within agile development methodologies (TDD/BDD/Scrum/Kanban).
• Participate in quality assurance, including design and code reviews, unit testing, and defect fixes.
• Design and implement robust APIs and services.
• Maintain system security and adhere to ISO 27001 security protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience in PHP.
• Strong experience in API development and management (REST, GRPC).
• Experience with SaaS solution delivery adoption frameworks.
• Proficiency in PHP 7+ and modern PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Yii, etc.).
• Understanding of SOLID, GRASP, and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Docker and PHPUnit.
• Experience with databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and message brokers (RabbitMQ or Kafka).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
• Good spoken English.
