Your Daily Business

As a (Senior) Backend Developer PHP, you will develop complex and highly scalable technical solutions based on PHP / Symfony, collaborating with your project team and third parties. Your responsibilities include:

  • Realizing e-commerce applications for dynamic, individual, and future-oriented webshops using state-of-the-art solutions and interface communications.
  • Working closely with the QA department and UX/UI designers on new components and functions.
  • Designing and optimizing databases based on MySQL.
  • Creating unit tests and user documentation.
  • Utilizing code management and tools such as Git, Composer, PHPUnit, PHPStan, Cypress, Buddy, PHP CSFixer, Docker, and more.
  • Ensuring quality assurance through "developer tests."
  • Supporting existing backend applications by analyzing their handling and functionality, and continuously improving and optimizing them with new features and modules.

Your Must-Haves

  • Over 3 years of experience in PHP development.
  • Proficiency in Symfony and a strong understanding of MySQL.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a team, including remotely.
  • Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable source code, with experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • View (unit) tests as an opportunity to enhance code quality.
  • Possess solution-oriented analytical skills and enjoy communicating with colleagues.
