Senior Backend Developer, Martech & CRM Focus (Elixir/PHP)
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join the Petlove Marketing team, focusing on Martech and CRM.
This position is responsible for operating, integrating, and technically evolving Braze, ensuring the team can execute CRM, automation, and personalization strategies without constant dependency on other engineering squads.
The role is predominantly technical and operational, centered on tool implementation, data integrations, automations, and sustaining the Martech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical owner for Braze.
- Integrate data and events from Petlove systems with Braze.
- Create and maintain triggers, flows, and automation rules within the tool.
- Develop and maintain templates and personalizations using Liquid.
- Implement new Braze functionalities and monitor platform evolutions.
- Implement technical automations for CRM and Marketing projects.
- Provide technical support to the Marketing team regarding Martech integrations and needs.
- Ensure stability, organization, and best practices in integrations and automations.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Solid experience in production backend development.
- Experience with system and data integration.
- Previous experience with Martech or CRM tools (Braze and similar).
- Ability to operate with technical autonomy.
- Good communication with business areas.
- Knowledge of engineering best practices.
- Monitoring experience.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Differentiators:
- Knowledge of Ruby.
- Experience with personalization tools (ex: Dynamic Yield).
- Experience with automations and the use of AI applied to CRM / Martech.
- Profile familiar with DevOps.
- Implementation of responsive websites.
About the Teams:
You will work alongside the Marketing / CRM team, partnering with Product and Engineering (SEO), supporting automation, personalization, and data initiatives.
