About the Role
We are seeking a talented Mid-level Backend Developer to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to take a leading position and champion our company culture.
As part of the team responsible for our cashback product, discount coupons, and other customer benefits from partner stores, you will contribute to delivering an innovative e-commerce experience. This includes the entire purchase journey and order tracking within the PicPay App. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on building scalable and resilient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality solutions adhering to established code standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all services.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Proven experience as a Mid-level Developer.
- Experience with data storage using Postgres (or other relational databases) or MongoDB (or other non-relational databases).
- Familiarity with Docker for development environments.
- Strong attention to code quality and design patterns.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Proficiency in code versioning using Git.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the following will be considered a significant advantage:
- Designing and implementing features with a focus on performance and security.
- Developing robust tests for enhanced maintainability.
- Designing and building horizontally scalable microservices.
- Working with high-performance jobs and inter-service communication using queue solutions such as Beanstalk, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Golang or PHP.
- Applying Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of common security risks (OWASP).
