We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to contribute to our mission.

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, evolve, and maintain backend applications, prioritizing quality, performance, security, and engineering best practices.
• Work within an ecosystem of multiple distributed applications, integrating internal and external systems.
• Actively participate in defining technical solutions, contributing to architectural decisions, development standards, and microservices design.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (product, business, QA, SRE, architecture, etc.).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, standards, and development guidelines, reinforcing best practices, observability, and technical governance.
• Provide incident support, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and drive structural system evolution to prevent recurrences.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of high-availability APIs and integrations focused on the customer's digital journey.
• Work with event choreography and messaging in distributed environments.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Solid experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot (JavaEE is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in developing and maintaining microservices.
• Knowledge of REST APIs (construction, versioning, best practices) and SOAP integrations.
• Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and non-relational databases (preferably MongoDB).
• Proficiency with messaging systems, preferably RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus.
• Knowledge of distributed environments, with a focus on performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Openshift and Datadog.
• Experience with event choreography and messaging-oriented solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with E-commerce platforms, especially API-focused.
• Knowledge of observability practices: metrics, structured logging, and tracing.
• Experience in technological transformation processes, particularly migrating legacy solutions to microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of design patterns and best practices, including Clean Code, SOLID, DDD, and hexagonal architecture.
• Knowledge of PHP.
