About the Architecture Area: You will propose, validate, develop, and document architectural solutions for the Machine platform. Your role involves collaborating on and guiding architectural problem-solving, as well as auditing the correct implementation of architectural patterns.

Responsibilities and Attributions
- Perform profiling and benchmarking for Go and PHP services, optimizing application hotpaths.
- Analyze and optimize high-volume SQL queries, focusing on execution plans, indexing, tuning, and database modeling adjustments.
- Monitor production performance to identify bottlenecks and scalability risks.
- Conduct in-depth investigations of performance issues, including hypothesis generation, system instrumentation, proof-of-concept creation, and solution validation through measurements.
- Propose architectural changes, such as gRPC, WebSocket, caching, and messaging, based on performance metrics.
- Lead the modernization of legacy systems by gradually migrating critical PHP flows to Go services, ensuring seamless transitions with pre and post-migration measurements.
- Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) in the development workflow and evaluate AI applications for squad products and processes.
- Suggest improvements to enhance system robustness, scalability, and continuous product evolution.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Fluency in Go and PHP.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, concurrency, networks, and operating systems.
- Proven experience in SQL query optimization (execution plan analysis, indexing, tuning) and robust data modeling knowledge.
- Expertise in hotpath optimization, including code profiling, benchmarking, and critical section optimization.
- Proficiency in gRPC and WebSocket.
- Practical experience with AI, specifically using LLMs in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications within high-availability environments.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Ability to work effectively with RESTful APIs.
- Exploratory mindset: technical curiosity, autonomy in problem investigation, and eagerness to learn new technologies and tackle complex challenges.
- A collaborative team player with a focus on transparency, honesty, excellence, and agile results.
- Experience with observability and APM tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing).
- Experience implementing caching and CDN strategies (e.g., Redis, Cloudflare).
- Experience with messaging and asynchronous processing (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, queues).
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
