We are seeking a Proficient WordPress Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. This is a fixed-term contract position. The ideal candidate possesses solid knowledge of WordPress, PHP, themes, plugins, page builders, front-end development, and website maintenance.

This role is ideal for someone who can work independently on assigned tasks, collaborate with senior developers, and contribute to delivering reliable, user-friendly WordPress solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
• Modify and configure WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress tools.
• Support custom development using PHP and WordPress functions.
• Configure and maintain plugins, forms, menus, custom fields, and content structures.
• Work with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, or similar tools.
• Support WooCommerce configuration and basic customization when required.
• Perform website updates, plugin updates, bug fixes, and content adjustments.
• Assist with website migrations, backups, and staging environment updates.
• Troubleshoot common WordPress issues related to plugins, themes, layouts, and performance.
• Collaborate with designers, QA testers, project managers, and senior developers.
• Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and deployment procedures.

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 3–5 years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Solid experience with WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and admin configuration.
• Working knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience customizing existing themes and plugins.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, Divi, or similar page builders.
• Basic understanding of WooCommerce.
• Ability to build responsive and mobile-friendly layouts.
• Familiarity with website performance, SEO basics, and security best practices.
• Experience using Git or another version control system.
• Ability to troubleshoot common WordPress issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
• English proficiency: intermediate proficiency (B2) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Types, or similar WordPress tools.
• Experience with website migrations and hosting control panels.
• Experience working with staging and production environments.
• Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or design-to-development workflows.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility and SEO implementation.
• Experience with multilingual websites or e-commerce sites.
