Remote Full Stack Web Developer (PHP & JavaScript)
Conword, a small startup based in Cologne specializing in AI-based website translations, is seeking a dedicated Full Stack Developer to join our team.
You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of modern web applications, alongside designing user-friendly interfaces. This role involves working on exciting projects encompassing both frontend and backend components, significantly contributing to the optimization of our software solutions. Your Tasks
- Develop new products (Front- and Backend).
- Further develop existing products (based on JS, PHP).
- Provide customer support and consulting, assisting with software usage.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management.
- Create websites and landing pages.
- Write technical articles for the website.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
- Understanding of technical abbreviations: HTML, CSS, PHP, JS, SQL, JSON, AJAX, SFTP, API, DEEPL.
- Proven experience developing both frontend and backend components for multiple projects.
- Ability to develop a project without AI support.
- Proficiency with Chrome, Devtools, Stackoverflow, and Slack.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Goal-oriented and structured way of working.
- Proficient in common web-based software.
- Enthusiasm for people, technology, and growth.
- Willingness to work in Cologne 1x per month.

This is a varied and responsible position in a dynamic environment. The role is available immediately, either part-time (20–30 expected hours per week) or full-time, and is permanent. Salary starts from €20.00 per hour.
