Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a minimum of one year of experience to ensure product quality and reliability through the development and execution of exploratory and automated tests. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive tests, debugging processes, defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking essential quality assurance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests; create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases to identify product deficiencies.
- Monitor debugging process results and perform thorough regression testing upon bug resolution.
- Track critical QA metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
- Plan, create, and manage the overall quality planning strategy, and develop/monitor performance metrics across all production stages.
- Liaise with internal teams (developers, product managers) to define system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
- Identify bottlenecks within the quality assurance process and propose actionable improvements.
- Stay current with new testing tools and strategies to continuously enhance testing efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of software QA processes, testing types (manual, automated, regression, API testing), and QA best practices.
- Experience with Postman, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, and platforms such as Azure DevOps or Bitbucket.
- Ability to create clear, concise test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency in executing manual and automated tests, troubleshooting, and reporting issues on web and mobile applications.
- Basic familiarity with Node.js, Django, or Laravel (or similar), JavaScript/PHP environments, and database management (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications, including both frontend and backend components, is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative, adapt to fast-paced environments, and deliver high-quality results.
