Data Idols is partnering with a private equity-backed data analytics and insights business seeking a Senior WordPress Developer.
The company is undergoing a critical technical transition phase and requires immediate hands-on engineering support to accelerate delivery. They are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer on a contract basis to stabilize and enhance their existing web portal environment.
The Opportunity
This is a practical, delivery-focused contract position. You will take ownership of development across an established PHP/WordPress platform, addressing backlog items, optimizing performance, and improving deployment workflows.
This role requires an individual comfortable operating independently, capable of translating product requirements into production-ready solutions without heavy oversight.
Skills & Experience
- Expert-level PHP
- Strong WordPress development and troubleshooting experience
- Advanced SQL capability
- Experience managing relational databases
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Clear communicator, able to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
