Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer for a temporary, freelance project. This role involves amending an existing legacy PHP website based on documented, prescribed changes. This is a one-off contract, approximately 2 days in length, and can be performed remotely from any location.
Responsibilities
Amend our existing PHP website by carrying out the following tasks:
- Remove services no longer offered
- Fix address lookup errors
- Amend the visual display of the custom order process
- Update company information within the footer
- Amend Square payment integration API from one company to another
- Update text and alter content on the front page of the site
- Amend custom invoice template with new text information
- Fix visual display errors on one specific page
Skills
- Proven proficiency in PHP development with relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies
- Experience with database management systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; ability to write complex SQL queries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Web Services (SOAP), GraphQL; understanding of API security best practices
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub
- Experience implementing and testing payment systems and custom ordering systems
