PHP Developer (Core PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel)

WHTL (whtl.co.in) is seeking talented and experienced PHP Developers to join our team of highly skilled engineers. You will be instrumental in building cutting-edge web applications for international clients, utilizing Core PHP and popular MVC frameworks like CodeIgniter and Laravel. This full-stack role requires a strong grasp of front-end technologies and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality code.

The successful candidate must possess relevant coding experience, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to function independently. Direct interaction with international clients may be required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop clean, well-structured, and efficient code using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Write back-end code and build optimized PHP modules.
• Develop back-end portals supported by an optimized database structure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and code issues effectively.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven ability to build websites and applications using Core PHP and PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter & Laravel).
• Expertise in front-end development, including CSS, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Ability to handle end-to-end web application development, including database setup, complex database queries, payment gateway integration, and third-party API integrations.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration processes.
• Experience maintaining code using Git / Bitbucket.
• Proficiency with development and debugging tools for resolving Cross-Browser Issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug code.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, for effective collaboration with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech. (any specialization) / M.C.A.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in PHP, PHP Frameworks (CodeIgniter or Laravel), and front-end technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS).
• Experience with WordPress CMS and Shopify is a significant advantage.
