We are strengthening our Software Department with a PHP Developer.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Development and maintenance of backend applications with PHP 8.x and Symfony 6/7
- Designing scalable and maintainable architectures
- Code review and mentoring junior developers
- Active participation in Scrum ceremonies (dailies, refinements, retrospectives)
- Defining and implementing unit, integration, and functional tests
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (product, operations, support)
- Technical and functional documentation of developments
What are we looking for?
- More than 3 years of experience in PHP development
- Proficiency in Symfony (minimum 3 years)
- Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience with testing (PHPUnit, Behat, or similar)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (GitFlow or similar)
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Exceptional communication skills: proven ability to act as a "translator" between non-technical (finance) and technical (IT) profiles
- Effective stakeholder management at all levels
- Adaptability and resilience in the face of constant change
What do we value?
- Previous experience in the telecommunications sector
- Knowledge of billing, provisioning, or CRM systems
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architectures
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, or queuing systems
- Experience with third-party integrations and middleware
