InfoFlo Print is looking for a skilled and autonomous PHP & WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys a mix of technical problem-solving and direct customer interaction. You will be responsible for maintaining our core systems, debugging complex issues, and ensuring seamless deployments.
Core Responsibilities
- Development & Maintenance: Write clean, maintainable code for WordPress sites and custom PHP applications.
- Debugging & Problem Solving: Proactively identify, investigate, and fix bugs. You should be comfortable "digging into the code" to find the root cause of an issue.
- Solution Architecture: Analyze technical problems reported by users, design effective solutions, and implement them from start to finish.
- Direct Customer Support: Act as a technical point of contact for customer support issues, communicating directly with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on fixes.
- Version Control & Deployment: Manage code via Git, including merging branches and resolving conflicts. You must be confident and capable of handling production deployments independently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- PHP & WordPress Expert: Strong experience with theme and plugin development, hooks, and the WordPress database schema.
- Git Mastery: Proficient in version control workflows, branching strategies, and conflict resolution.
- Independent Deployment: Proven ability to manage production environments and deploy code safely and autonomously.
- Analytical Thinking: A natural problem-solver who can translate a customer's issue into a technical requirement.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for direct interaction with customers.
Preferred "Good to Know" Skills
- QuickBooks API: Experience developing integrations with QuickBooks for financial data syncing.
- Financial Literacy: Basic accounting knowledge or a strong comfort level working with financial numbers and data accuracy.
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
