School Description
JadeClass Education Singapore offers enrichment education to bright students (ages 6–16) who are fluent in English and planning to continue their education abroad. We develop and deliver in-person and online classes in English and STEM, focusing on concrete skills. Students are carefully screened for English level, behavior, and motivation.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-energy online math classes for small groups (up to eight students).
- Review materials and record lesson preparation as required to ensure instructional quality.
- Complete a full series of scheduled classes without absences or rescheduling.
Course Details & Technology
Our small-group, online math courses meet weekly for 90 minutes on the ClassIn platform (classin.com). Lessons utilize coursework/PPTs developed by our in-house team. Training and support are provided.
Technology Requirements
- Fast and stable internet connection (~20mbps upload and download).
- Modern, reliable computer (CPU benchmark score of ~10,000+ on www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php).
Schedule (UTC +8)
Lessons are typically scheduled during the following times, based on student and teacher availability:
Fall/Spring Term
- Friday: 18:00–21:00
- Saturday: 08:30–20:30
- Sunday: 08:30–20:30
Summer Term
- Monday/Thursday: 08:30–20:30
- Wednesday/Saturday: 08:30–20:30
Applicant Requirements
- Experience teaching elementary, middle-school, or high-school math (online or in person).
- Ability to explain concepts clearly, simply, and logically.
- Capacity to integrate personal teaching style with established standards.
- Reliable, organized, and able to prepare for and attend every scheduled lesson.
- Positive attitude, engaging personality, and talkative demeanor.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Fluent in English with clear pronunciation.
Compensation & Benefits
- New Lessons: $66 USD per hour, totaling $100 per 90-minute lesson. (Payment covers teaching time only, not material review/preview recording.)
- Repeated Lessons: $50 USD per hour, totaling $75 USD per 90-minute lesson (for lessons previously taught).
- An extra $25 is paid for recording a preview video (without students) the first time a lesson is taught.
- Remuneration is processed monthly (between the 10th and 12th) via Wise (wise.com).
