Online Math Teacher - JadeClass Education Singapore

Are you an energetic, confident, and adaptable teacher looking for an online teaching opportunity? JadeClass Education Singapore is hiring for our online math program. We provide students, online-teaching tools, structure, and resources to ensure your success.

We are seeking high-quality teachers committed to a fixed schedule of at least two classes per week, starting in July. We offer $75 for each 90-minute lesson (including preparation and teaching time). For the first time teaching a lesson, we may request a preview video recording (without students) for an additional $25.

School Description

JadeClass Education Singapore provides enrichment education to bright students aged 6–16 who have a strong command of English and plan to pursue further education abroad. Our team of talented teachers develops and delivers in-person and online classes in English and STEM. We focus on teaching concrete skills to help our students succeed.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-energy online math classes for up to eight students.
• Review materials and record lesson preparation as required to ensure quality.
• Complete a series of classes without absences or rescheduling.

Schedule

Lessons are typically scheduled based on student and teacher availability:

• Fall/Spring term: Fri 18:00-21:00 (UTC +8), Sat 08:30–20:30 (UTC+8), Sun 08:30–20:30 (UTC+8)
• Summer term: Mon/Thurs 08:30–20:30 (UTC+8), Wed/Sat 08:30–20:30 (UTC+8)

Course Description

Our small-group, online math courses utilize the ClassIn platform (classin.com). Each 90-minute class connects one teacher with 6-8 students. Lessons are based on coursework and PPTs developed by our in-house team. Training and support are provided.

Technology Requirements

• Fast and stable internet connection (~20mbps upload and download).
• Modern, reliable computer (~10,000+ on www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php).

Requirements

Compensation

• $100 per 90-minute lesson for new lessons (includes preparation and teaching).
• $75 per 90-minute lesson for repeated lessons.
• Payment is processed monthly via Wise (wise.com) between the 10th and 12th of the month.
